Digital Printing Services
Computer Graphics
We prefer using Macintosh or Windows based computers
and primarily Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia Freehand
software to create graphic images. The process is created from color transparencies,
photographs, composite artwork and computer files submitted by clients.
Our designers then create 'TIFF' files compatible with Michelangelo printing
system.
Print Production
The Michelangelo produces four color process, dotless
(continuous tone) printing. The systems proprietary software allows us
to create four quality levels of printing to suit the economics of each
assignment.
| The quality levels are: |
|
| Fine arts ……………. |
our best print output |
| Photographic ……….. |
for close-up viewing |
| Display ……………... |
especially for exhibits |
| Outdoor ……………. |
for distance viewing |
Materials Management
We have successfully printed on a variety of surfaces,
rancing from lightweight to heavy weight textiles, flame retardant materials,
wood, laminated products, uneven surfaces, ceramic tiles, metal sheets
and even stone.
While exotic surfaces are a specialty of Image
79 Studios, the vast majority of our work is still done on Vinyl, Gesso
Canvas, Polyester and Cotton Fabric.
We invite you to give us a challenge.
Finishing Department
Because of the limitation of sizes of materials available
we usually have to tile large murals and banners together.
| Finishing functions: |
|
| Hems ………….. |
completely sewn perimeters |
| Seams ……….... |

| Sleeves ………... |
enclosed pockets for suspension or weight balancing |
